Sandra began her career in HR in 2004, as an HR Assistant and Payroll Coordinator. She then joined an HR team that provided HR assistance including employee relations, benefits, and leadership to more than 200 employees. Sandra went to spend the next six years working as the HR Generalist for one of the largest printing companies in the US with over 5,000 employees, her division offered all aspects of HR to two teams of over 200 employees both union and non-union. Sandra has a solid background in domestic human resource management as well as policy, procedure, recruiting, legal compliance and compensation.
Sandra joined Managed Maintenance Inc., in 2014. She leads all core HR functions and is an advisor and coach to team members across all departments. She manages day-to-day operations of the HR office, including the administration of MMI’s policies, procedures and carries out responsibilities in the areas of departmental developments, HRIS systems, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development and recruiting.
I am driven by the work environment at MMI. All employees at MMI are part of a strong team that work in a positive, energized, and supportive environment where ideas are not only welcomed, but encouraged. I enjoy working alongside my teammates toward shared objectives and common goals.
When I’m not at work I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my 17 year old niece. In my spare time I enjoy crafts, including soap making, and volunteering for animal rescues.
