George has worked in the Services business since 1993 where he first joined IBM as a college Co-op from Auburn University where he was studying Computer Science and Management Information Systems. He began his career providing Service Business Process support to the IBM Business Partner channel while also managing IBM’s International Warranty Service program. For the past 20+ years, George has served in various Services business technology roles driving multi-million dollar global IT and Business Transformation projects. He led the IT transition from IBM to Lenovo for the Service & Support Organization in 2005 when Lenovo purchased the IBM PC Company and continued on to design and drive the build-out and deployment of Lenovo’s global Services IT Infrastructure and Solutions. George has in-depth knowledge and experience in Service Operations, Services Sales, Warranty Management, Contact Center, and Repair Processes.

George is the Senior Director of Product and Program Management for MMI. He is responsible for overseeing the strategy, design, and customer deployment of the MMI software solutions.

George is the newest member of the MMI Executive Team, joining in 2016 to help manage and drive to completion the first fully global deployment of a highly customized version of MMI’s ONEview application. Since then, he has been responsible for defining and implementing processes, tools, and templates to improve productivity and quality in delivery of MMI’s SaaS solutions to its customers. Overseeing and mentoring a small, highly effective team of product owners, business analysts, and project managers, George serves as the key focal point to MMI customers for all solution and project related discussions and leads the overall customer solution design and deployment process.

I have always been energized by the opportunity to bring new solutions and process improvements to my customers, my team, and my company. The culture at MMI is such that everyone feels a sense of ownership and responsibility to push the business forward, regardless of their individual role. Everyone pitches in where they can and you never hear “that’s not my job” but instead “where can I help?”. This spirit within this company, knowing everyone is working toward the same goal, that is what drives me in the office each day.

During my off time, I enjoy woodworking, motorcycle riding, and playing bass guitar in my neighborhood garage band. 20+ years working for global companies has afforded me many opportunities to travel the world which is something I continue to do with my family whenever possible.

Lina M. Sosa is the Vice President of Business Execution for MMI. She is responsible for sales execution, account growth, day-to-day operations and customer satisfaction for all MMI’s customers. In her role, Ms. Sosa directs the outsourcing sales and customer service efforts of MMI.
