MMI Supports the Local Community this Holiday Season
This year, Managed Maintenance, Inc., a local SaaS and services contract sales consulting provider, is keeping its commitment of helping support the efforts of local charities by raising funds for the Boca Raton based Boca Helping Hands (BHH). Boca Helping Hands provides services to benefit individuals, families and children during times of need, emergencies or crisis.
In an effort to involve MMI employees, raise team morale and support a local charity, the management team at MMI has offered its employees the opportunity to make minimum donations of $1 per day in exchange for wearing casual attire to the workplace over the holidays. All monies collected will go the Boca Raton chapter of Helping Hands (BHH). BHH serves hot meals six days a week to the working poor, single parents, children, the elderly and homeless of Boca Raton. In addition, they supply grocery bags of food staples to help meet the food needs of local residents, as well as job search resources and children’s educational assistance programs.
“With the holiday season upon us, MMI wanted to engage our employees and offer them a chance to support their local community, and we thought this was a fun way of doing it”, said MMI CEO Tina Lux-Boim. “We realize not everyone is as fortunate as our employees and their families. This is just one small way we can share with others less forturnate.”
Over the last 24 months, MMI has organized events to raise funds in support of the relief efforts following the earthquake in Haiti, Breast Cancer Research, and most recently the 2011 Freedom Climb, which supports the eradication of worldwide human trafficking.
